Prayer Updates 5/1/24
Church Family & Friends
Jennifer Mills- (Jeff Morgan's Fiancée) Continue to pray for her recovery from surgery last week and that this will help to keep the cancer in remission. She appreciates all your prayer and loving support!
Grace Lewis's son Rich - He was in a bicycle accident last week and badly injured his head and face. He had a concussion and 2 broken bones in his face, as well as scrapes and bruises, gravel imbedded in his skin and swelling around his eyes. Pray for his wounds to heal quickly and his appointments with specialists to go well. Pray also for his spiritual condition and that he would draw near to God at this time.
Katie DeMaria- She is going through a difficult time with her mental health. Pray for the Lord to intervene and transform her mind and her thoughts. Pray for discernment for those caring for her and for more effective treatment. Pray for Colleen as it is difficult to see her daughter struggle.
Kerin O'Brien- Pray for her Mother -in-Law Nancy, as she has Cirrhosis of the Liver. Pray for her treatment and healing.
Veronica's daughter, Hayden- (8 yr. old) Pray for the Lord to give her peace and to take away the anxiety and anger she is feeling. Pray for her parents to have wisdom and patience in dealing with her, for God's grace and encouragement. Pray also for daughter Austyn (12) that her attitude and behavior would improve, and she would be receptive to Christian influences in her life.
Mary Waite - Continue to pray for her father, 83, who has a lot of swelling in his feet and legs and has an enlarged prostate.
Marlene Duesler - Pray for improvement with her eyesight and that her eye pressure will go down.
Zephania Strong - (Rachel and Isaiah's son) Needs to have his tonsils removed. Pray for a timely appointment and that the procedure would go well and solve some of his problems. He also has sleep apnea.
Kelly Dutcher- Pray for healing of the cartilage in her knee that she previously had surgery on and that it wouldn’t cause more pain or immobility. Pray that she won't need another surgery until after summer.
Care Portal Ministry- Please pray for the families we’ve connected with through Care Portal. Care Portal is an opportunity to fulfill an immediate need, working with an assigned case manager and then connecting with families, the children in these families directly. With each family we connect with, they are assured God loves them, they are worthy and there’s support. Pray that each family we’ve connected with are left with seeds planted of faith and strength to live their day joyfully, knowing they are loved on.
Beth Allen- Continue to pray for her vision to improve and overall health. Her brain tumor is growing. Please pray that it would stop and not become more debilitating. Pray for God's continued Grace and Peace and for Garth, too.
Missionary Family
Sheryl O'Bryan- (Interaction Int'l. /Third culture Kids) Pray for Sheryl's Dad who injured his back earlier this winter when he fell. He is home from rehab, but in a wheelchair. Pray that he would regain his strength and start walking again so he does not lose mobility. This is a burden for Sheryl as she is his sole caretaker. She asks prayer for wisdom in his future care. Pray for her ministry with Missionary families and coordinating training and teaching classes for mission organizations.
Paul and Tati O'Bradovic (W.O.L. Schroon Lake) Pray for upcoming missions and staff conferences they are attending this month and the Olympians writing team in May that Paul is overseeing at WOL, Florida.
Chip and Tammy Welton (Canada) Pray for the work in Bolivia to continue to expand. The team had a great response there back in February. Pray for the Lord's guidance and timing for growing the work in Asia. Pray that Chip would have opportunity to witness during his travels on route to different countries and locations. Continue to pray for their street evangelism work in Calgary. Pray for financial gifts for the "Where Most Needed" fund which helps cover monthly ministry expenses in other countries.
Alejandro and Ester Teper (Argentina) Pray for God's protection and peace as they are battling Spiritual Warfare as well as physical difficulties and health issues. They Praise God for His Faithfulness and the fruit they are seeing at Word of Life Bible Institute and camps.
Beto and Crystal Tarasiuk (Latino Church, PA.) Please be in prayer for their small fellowship of believers, that it would grow and that God would bring new people to hear the gospel. They have had some doctrinal issues because many come from a charismatic background. Pray for a woman, Issy, that Crystal has been working with. She recently received Christ as Savior but struggles with severe depression and lacks the will to implement the helps she has been offered. Pray for Crystal as she is healing from foot surgery in February.
Joe and Amy Marshall (Benin, W. Africa) Pray for their physical and housing needs to be met and for daily health and strength for the family. Pray also for their spiritual growth and strength as they minister to others.
